Ok guys here is something new that will help me add content to my page every Tuesdays.  The activity is called “Top Ten Tuesday”.  This top ten list comes from the blog “Broke and the Bookish”.  The basic concept is that the people of Broke and the Bookish will have a theme for the “Top Ten Tuesday” post.  For example Top Ten Books or if we look at last week’s Tuesday, it was “Top Ten Things That Makes My Life as a Reader and Blogger Easier”.  For this Tuesday the blogger of Broke and the Bookish made this Top Ten Tuesday were looking back to our favorite books, in search of something else besides the main characters.  This one was actually quite difficult for me, so I hope it is good enough.  The topic Ten for this week is Top Ten Favorite Secondary Characters.

  1. Brigitte Silverbow from the Wheel of Time series, by Robert Jordan.  If you’re looking for the female version of Robin Hood, I believe she outshines him in a number of ways.
  2. Seamus Finnigan from the Harry Potter series, by J. K. Rowling.  I probably wouldn’t give the book series credit as to why I like him.  In the movies they portrayed him and a klutz and always having things explode.
  3. Akenji from Birth of Half Elves, by H. L. Watson.  He actually becomes the main character in the following book; however I like his friendship and loyalty to Donavon.
  4. Murtagh from the book Eragon, by Christopher Paolini.  Even though he ended up being one of the villains, I understood his struggle to be worthy or a formidable opponent.
  5. Logain Ablar from the Wheel of Time series, by Robert Jordan.  Logain made it to the top of fame and infamy and then crumbled to the bottom where he was treated like someone just waiting to die. Then with the help of healing he slowly worked his way back up to the top.  The character development in Logain made a really big impact on me, and was really inspirational.
  6. Neji Hyuga from Naruto.  Now I know this is anime and not technically a book, but Neji’s character morals and values are examples in which I would like to live by.  He is a genius in his village, but is devoted to tradition.
  7. Sirius Black from Harry Potter series, by J. K. Rowling.  Before he dies he portrayed that dark character that assisted the hero or heroine of the story.  Sometimes I feel that those types of characters bring a little excitement and mystery or distrust.
  8. Brig from the Magic of Thieves, by C. Greenwood.  Despite being involved in a feared band of thieves, Brig displays a soft side.
  9. Faile Bashere from the Wheel of Time Series, by Robert Jordan.  This is another strong female character, she ran away from her home to avoid the boring life of being a noble.
  10. Brenwar from the Chronicles of Dragon, by Craig Halloran.  My favorite trait of this character is his loyalty to his friend.

For example Top Ten Books or if we look at last week’s Tuesday, it was “Top 10 Book with “X” Settings.  For this Tuesday the blogger of Broke and the Bookish made this Top Ten Tuesday really helpful to all readers and bloggers out here.  I am actually excited about this one because I am fairly new at blogging and looking for more ways to improve.  The topic for this week is “Top Ten Things That Makes My Life as a Reader and Blogger Easier”.
